John Manousso
was born and
raised in Ethiopia of Greek parents. He came to Houston, Texas, in 1961.
English was this sixth language. After working as a Logistics Manager for
a Houston oil company for 38 years, he is now a mediator and arbitrator and
volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations.
A devout Greek Orthodox Christian, he has been a member of the Annunciation
Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Houston, Texas, for many decades.
John and with his wife Barbara are the coordinators of the
International Waldenstrom's Macroglombulinemia Foundation Houston Chapter (IWMF).
Barbara Sunderland Manousso was born and
raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her Baccalaureate in Arts
from Brown University in Rhode Island and a Master of Public Health from the
University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. Currently,
she is working on a Ph.D.(ABD) in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova
Southeastern University in Florida.
